Metropolitan Machine Knitting was established in 1925. From the beginning, Metropolitan has always had quality and creativity as it's main priorities!

In late 2021 Metropolitan was acquired by a new owner, and its headquarters moved from Crewe to Leeds in West Yorkshire, UK Under new ownership, the company will continue offering a wide range of knitting yarns, tools and accessories for knitting and other crafts, and selling quality new and owned knitting machines.

For years, Metropolitan has provided creative individuals with the supplies they need to create masterpieces. Since its founding, clients have relied on a well-stocked catalogue as well as our service.
